SEE YOU NEXT YEAR!

Sun-drenched edition of Gravel One Fifty: nearly 2000 participants over fast Drenthe gravel paths!

What a day! The Brink in Roden turned sporty, atmospheric, and a bit dusty today during the Gravel One Fifty 2025. Under a shining sun and with plenty of spectators, nearly 2000 gravel riders started on the beautiful Drenthe gravel trails.

More than 2300 participants had registered, most with an additional goal: qualification for the World Championship Gravel in Limburg later this year. At exactly 10:00 AM, the first starting signal for the 150 kilometers was given by Mayor Klaas Smid of the municipality of Noordenveld. Two hours later, at 12:00 PM, the participants for the 80 kilometers also set off.

The conditions were ideal. Thanks to a few dry days and a strong sun, the course was ready quickly. And that was noticeable: on some sections, the fastest men rode at an average speed of no less than 43 kilometers per hour!

In the elite men's category, the victory went to Jordan Habets, followed by Kamiel Notebaert and Thomas Mein. In the elite women's category, it was Femke Markus who crossed the finish line first, ahead of Rosa Klöser and Julia Kopecky.

Lastly, and extremely important: a big thank you to all the residents of North Drenthe, the spectators along the course, and the enthusiastic audience on the Brink. You made this day unforgettable.
