Sun-drenched edition of Gravel One Fifty: nearly 2000 participants over fast Drenthe gravel paths!

What a day! The Brink in Roden was sporty, atmospheric, and a little dusty today during the Gravel One Fifty 2025. Under a shining sun and with a large audience, nearly 2000 gravel riders set off on the beautiful Drenthe gravel paths.

More than 2300 participants had registered, most with an additional goal: qualification for the World Championship Gravel in Valkenburg later this year. At exactly 10:00 AM, the first starting shot for the 150 kilometers was fired by Mayor Klaas Smid of the municipality of Noordenveld. Two hours later, at 12:00 PM, the participants of the 80 kilometers also set off.

The conditions were ideal. Thanks to a few dry days and a strong sun, the course was in great shape. And that was noticeable: on some stretches, the fastest men rode with an average of no less than 43 kilometers per hour!

In the elite men's category, the victory went to Jordan Habets, followed by Kamiel Notebaert and Thomas Mein. In the elite women's category, it was Femke Markus who crossed the finish line first, ahead of Rosa Klöser and Julia Kopecky.

Finally, and very importantly: a big thank you to all the residents of Noord-Drenthe, the spectators along the course, and the enthusiastic audience at the Brink. You made this day unforgettable.
